The story of Makhtesh Ramon - the biggest crater in the world!
The Ramon Visitors Center sits on the edge of the Ramon Crater. The exhibit brings to life the different elements of the landscape: geology, zoology, botany, and archeology. After studying the displays, visitors can enjoy a fantastic view of the Ramon Crater.
The audiovisual program offers scientific commentary against a background of photographs from the area. The soundtrack is translated into English, Arabic and French. A three-dimensional model of the crater is displayed, as well as spectacular video clips. A unique scientific sundial is located at the open observatory on the roof.
